Pink Moon ~~ I love it!

I took these right outside my front door!

Hannah and Bill

This is a more flattering picture of Hannah... she doesn't look so...ummm... ~plump~ in this pose. And she looks like she's trying to appear sweet and innocent ~she's not~. Bill, on the other hand, is always cool and aloof.......

Budding Flowers.... it won't be long!

thought I'd take a quick picture of these buds before they bloom ... here's my last tulip and the first of my lily of the valley (I just love these!)

Skyline Chili Spaghetti.... mmmmmm.....

The closest Skyline is about a half an hour away... so we get the canned Skyline chili and enjoy it at home! Spaghetti, onion and lots of cheese!! I should have waited until the cheese melted more before taking the picture... but I was starving!!

I Love Roasted Asparagus!

Roasted Asparagus Recipe

1 lb asparagus spears
1-2 Tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
Kosher Salt
Freshly grated black pepper
Lemon juice

1 Preheat oven to 400°F. Rinse clean the asparagus. Cut the tough ends off of the asparagus and save for compost.

2 Lay the asparagus spears out in a single layer in a baking dish or a foil-covered roasting pan. Drizzle olive oil over the spears, roll the asparagus back and forth until they are all covered with a thin layer of olive oil. Sprinkle with minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Rub over the asparagus so that they are evenly distributed.

3 Place pan in oven and cook for approximately 8-10 minutes, depending on how thick your asparagus spears are, until lightly browned and tender when pierced with a fork. Drizzle with a little fresh lemon juice before serving.

Enjoy!

Dan Aykroyd Crystal Head Vodka!

Just bought this awesome bottle of Vodka! I had to have it! *think Bloody Mary with the Vodka being poured from a Skull, how cool is that!*...I'm picturing it too ~

This cost $53 and I'm a super tightwad. I just couldn't resist! **besides, it won't go to waste**

This Pure Spirit, vodka triple filtered through polished crystals known as Herkimer diamonds, free of additives, is exquisite any time of the year but perhaps ideal for October. Brought to us by Dan Aykroyd, known for his fascination with the invisible world, Crystal Head Vodka ties in with the story of the 13 Crystal Heads that have been unearthed at various times on our planet... from the Yucatan to Tibet. The Heads are believed to emit positive energy, good will and prosperity. Crystal Head Vodka is perfect as a lone shot, chilled or served in signature cocktails. Unlike most vodkas in today's marketplace that use additives, glycol, citrus and sugar to improve smoothness and flavor, Crystal Head Vodka is a pure spirit with no additives. It is quadrupled distilled and filtered three times through charcoal followed by triple filtration over Herkimer crystals from one of the planets rarest deposits of close concentrated semi-precious stones- Dan Aykroyd
