Chili Pepper Cookies!!
ok.... they're just sugar cookies...made to look like chili peppers
This is where I'll be sharing recipes, gardening hints and tips, sewing ideas ..... a very eclectic mixture of all the stuff in my head that oozes out.
If you've ever planted anything in the mint family (such as catnip) ... you know it will pop up in the spring a mile from the original planting! We have catnip clear on the other side of the house and Hannah found this clump growing down in the garden .. a long way away. I'm guessing during the fall clean up, I dropped some on the way to the compost pile.
~Hannah after eating and rolling around in her catnip treat~
I grow my own catnip ... it's soooo cheap and easy! Just make sure you plant it away from anything else because it will take over. To dry fresh catnip, hang upside down in a dry, ventilated area, away from the sun. I store it in a Mason jar. Then if your kitties get stuck in the house on a snow day .... they can go crazier!
