Broom Corn is a Hit!

Definitely planting more broom corn next year! The birds picked it clean! We hung one on the post and it took about 2 weeks for them to figure it out...but when they did...they loved it!

I Made Birdseed!

ended up with about 24 nice heads of broomcorn seeds! I'll dry them for a couple of weeks and then save them for winter for the birds. I'll just hang them in the tree for the birds to pick at! Come to think of it ...I just made my own birdseed! Cool!

Broom Corn is Cool!

My broom corn is awesome! I can't believe how big it is. I'm growing it for the birds. After it dries you just cut the "broom" part (the tassley part on top) off and hang it in a tree for the birds to pick the seeds. Cool!
